Opened in 1823, our Cast Courts brought together copies of some of the most significant works of art and architecture from around the globe. Featuring reproductions of Michelangelo’s David, Trajan’s Column, and Ghiberti’s Gates of Paradiseour, amongst many others, they still remain a key source of artistic inspiration today.
