Vittorino Curci
Vittorino Curci is a poet and saxophonist. He received his artistic training during the 70s at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome, city where he exhibited his first conceptual works of art at the Jartrokor Gallery, directed by Sergio Lombardo. Starting in the second half of the 80s, he began collaborating with avant-garde jazz musicians, and in 1994 in Reggio Emilia he was among the founders of the performing poetry Group Baobab. He collaborates with the magazine Nuovi Argomenti and for several years with the Croatian magazine “Komikaze” (winner in 2020 of the PRIX BD ALTERNATIVE at the AngoulêmeFestival in France). He curates the “Bottega della poesia” for Repubblica Bari.
