Ben Denzer | Meat book

Artist Ben Denzer has an appetite for unconventional bookmaking materials. His pages consist of things you wouldn’t think belong bound between two covers: ketchup packets, cocktail napkins, lottery tickets, dollar bills, sheets of toilet paper. And meat. Denzer created his meat book in the library’s Book Arts Studio. The book, “20 Slices of Meat,” has been preserved and now resides in the collection at the University of Michigan Library.
