Zaher Omareen and Ibrahim Fakhri discuss the background to their artwork featured as part of the V&A exhibition Disobedient Objects. Made using stencils, the piece has been spray-painted directly onto the gallery wall to form a mural of faces. The artists talk about the dangers and complexity of concealing stencils which have been used in Syria to represent individuals lost in the revolution. Similar stencils have also been shared online to encourage people to repeat them on walls around the world.
