“The legalities of buying and selling sex are widely debated, yet a core aspect often overlooked is the gender imbalance. The term ‘sex industry’ implies neutrality, but betrays the fact that the majority of those who buy sex are men and the majority of those who sell sex are women. It seemed fitting to explore the issue of gender inequality through the testimonies of men talking about their experiences of paying for sex.”
